[edit] How do I change my name?
A: You can change it though the Ace of Spades configuration file. To do this, find the folder where Ace of Spades was installed into, locate 'config.ini' and open it up with a text editor. Find the line starting with 'Name =' and change the text after the equals sign to whatever you want your name to be. If you're on Windows Vista/7 and have difficulties with permissions, copy the config.ini file content out, open up notepad and save it somewhere else where permissions allow you to, then move and replace the existing config.ini file.
[edit] When I click on a server on the Play page, nothing happens
A: This means that the aos:// link has not been attributed to your Ace of Spades client.exe. Try downloading and installing the Third-Party application named Spadille. It has its own server browser and a more direct way of opening the client to run the game.
If you're using Mozilla Firefox and you receive the 'Firefox doesn't know how to open this address' message, try the following: Go to.. Tools -> Options -> Application. Find Ace of Spades in the list, click on the drop down box on the right and select 'Use other'. Click browse, find your Ace of Spades folder then select client.exe (ref).
