[edit] General

Hitboxes for players. Red is the head, dealing maximum damage, orange is the torso, and yellow are the limbs (arms and legs), dealing minimal damage. Notice how if you hit the torso the bullet goes through the arms' hitbox.

Each player spawns with 100 health points (the ammount can be changed using pyspades). Each player has an indicator to display their current number of health points at the bottom of their screen. A player can take damage - thereby losing health points - in a number of ways. When a player’s health is less than 1, the death animation plays and the player is temporarily removed from the match. They respawn somewhere in their team’s territory after a set interval -- this is server-dependent. A player can fully restore their health points by walking into their team's command post.

[edit] Types of Damage

A player takes damage when they:

[edit] Weapon damage

Body Part Rifle SMG Shotgun
Head 100 75 37
Torso 49 30 27
Limb 33 20 16
Close Range - - 100

If a grenade explodes near a player, the amount of damage taken depends on the player's proximity to the blast. If a player is within 4 blocks of the blast, the grenade will deal at least 100 damage, killing the player instantly. When the player is outside of 4 blocks, but within about 8 blocks, a value of damage relative to the distance will be assessed on the player.

[edit] Fall Damage

Falling from heights greater than 5 blocks results in fall damage. A fall which deals damage will take a minimum of 3 health points. A fall of 25 blocks will take 99 health points, making it the maximum distance that a player can fall and survive. Fall damage can be toggled in pyspades configuration.
