So you wanted to make your own skin but don't know how? Well, you are on the right place!

[edit] Step 1: Finding the files

The first thing you have to do is to download Slab6. You can find it here. After you have downloaded the program, open it, go to File/Open (or press L) and go to your hard drive/Ace of Spades/kv6 and select the file you want to edit. In this tutorial we will modify the rifle (semi.kv6).

[edit] Step 2: Modifying the rifle

So you have opened the rifle, but you don't know how to look around? It's very easy - use WSAD to move around, and left mouse button to change the camera angle. In this tutorial we will add the scope to the rifle. Use Insert (Ins) to add blocks, and Delete (Del) to delete blocks. WARNING: THE BLOCK WILL HAVE THE SAME COLOR AS THE SURFACE IT WAS PLACED ON. To change color, press +/-, and to pick color under cursor, press Tab. You can also paint the object with team colors (deep black), however to make it work, you have to pick the color from the object who has the team colors (ex. command post, intel). However, the team colors will NOT work on guns and grenades. To save your project, go to File/Save As, and save the project as semi.kv6 on your hard drive/ace of spades/kv6 folder.

[edit] Step 3: Modifying the sights

On this step you don't need Slab6 anymore, however you will need Photoshop,Paint.Net or some other picture editing software. I recommend Paint.Net (http://download-paint-net.com/) or Gimp (http://www.gimp.org) because they're free. Now go to your Ace of Spades folder/png and open the file semi.png. Now, you can modify the sights how you want. After you have finished, save it as semi.png.

You can also modify the sounds, but we will not do this in the tutorial.

Enjoy your new skin!
